it's part of your life and you want more, more,
more! You're tired of
the same ol' same ol' and want to help
bring about a dynamic change in the music scene
for mature adults. You're adventurous, so cool
and you have that longing to hang out with
the best. You
want keep up on what's happening in the
wonderful world of Smooth Jazz? Your search is
over!
2. You've been feeling
pretty lonely lately; listening to your Smooth
Jazz CD's all alone in your home/car, feeling
like a stranger, an alien, the only person in
the Inland NW who listens
or cares about this genre (Hello....Is there any
more like me out there????)
3. You have a burning
desire to socialize and network with people from
the same planet as you. You want to mingle and
party or chill with your jazz peers in a
sophisticated atmosphere where folks still
believe in dressing up to go out on the town, dancing
and groovin' the night away to music that stirs
your soul. Your heart still believes in romance,
and the finer things in life.
4. You are a musician who plays/sings
Smooth/Contemporary Jazz. You have little or no
opportunities to play Smooth Jazz in this
region. There is no venue for you to showcase or
market your talent. You can't stomach playing
another cover tune or doing another gig at Aunt
Maggie's Coffee Emporium! You are sooooooo ready
to move on!
5. You're a transplant from a larger city and
you were already used to a steady diet of
groovin to Smooth
Jazz before you moved to this fair
city. And now that you've experienced the
great void you are saying, "What the heck,
where's the Smooth Jazz?"
6. By nature you have the heart of a mover and a
shaker. You thrive in the face of adversity
and you love a challenge especially when it comes
to proving those nasty doomsayers wrong! Some
say Smooth Jazz will never last. Some say that
it's not even a legitimate music. You know the
truth.....................the time has come.

Levels and Benefits
For Your Convenience
IN THE GROOVE, $35.00 -
Our basic level includes our monthly newsletter,
complimentary copies of the Smooth Jazz News and
the Jazz & Wine Magazines, advance notice on all
ticket sales to our events and invitations to
our member only activities. And best of
all....since you are now officially and totally
cool, you get to hang out with the best!
JAZZ CATS, $50 - (For Musicians)
Our basic level + you'll be included in our network of Jazz Musicians. We'll
include you on our "Local Artist" page on our
website, directory and newsletter, and your gigs will be added to our calendar. You'll
have opportunities to play not only in Smooth Jazz Society events, but with
our affiliates as well.
JAZZ COLLECTIVE, $100.00 - (For bands)
Our basic level + you will be included in our
network of Jazz
Musicians. We'll include your group on our "Local Artist" page on our
website, directory and newsletter, and your gigs will be added to our
calendar. You will be given opportunities to
play not only in SJ Society events, but with our affiliates as well.
JAZZ
CRUSADERS, $250.00 - (Businesses and Venues) Our
basic level + you'll be part of our network of
businesses that support Smooth Jazz. We'll
include your business on our "Cool Links" page,
along with featuring your business in our
newsletter. If you have an event that has Smooth
Jazz, we will add that event to our monthly
calendars.
